QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM STANDARD

Century Properties Management Inc. (CPMI), the full-service property and facilities management arm of Century Properties Group (CPG), has recently been awarded once again the ISO 9001:2015 Certification, the world’s most recognized Quality Management System standard, reaffirming the company’s dedication to quality performance, customer satisfaction, and service excellence. CPMI first received the award in 2017.

Receiving the plaques from TÜV SÜD Philippines, a leading provider of Management Systems Certification, Third Party Inspection and Product Testing Services in the Philippines are: CPMI President & CEO, Mr. Rafael G. FIRE BRIGADE COMPETITION HELD AT CENTURY CITY

To demonstrate its steadfast commitment to community safety as well as to underscore its dedication to resident welfare, Century City hosted the 22nd Century properties Management, Inc. Inter Property Fire Brigade Competition. The competition imparted essential skills in the correct use and management of fire safety personal protective gear and firefighting equipment, as well as nurtured competence an dteamwork in handling fire-related incidents and emergencies. A total of 29 property teams participated in the event, engaging in a range of activities dedicated to various scenarios, including High Rise Rescue Operations, the execution of Combination of Busted Hose and Up Ladder Operations, mastering the Rescue and Transfer Relay, honing skills in

Donning Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), while extinguishing flames, and demonstrating agility in the Bucket Relay Operation.

EV CHARGING NOW AVAILABLE AT PACIFIC STAR BUILDING

Pacific Star Building Unit owners and their tenants with *electric vehicles now have access to an Electronic Vehicle (EV) charging station at Basement 1 for free. Offered by Century Properties Management, Inc. and the Pacific Star Building Condominium Corporation, the service aims to ease the way for sustainable vehicles in the property.

What to Know About the Electric Vehicle Charging Station at Pacific Star Building

WHAT IS THE CHARGING PLUG TYPE?
The Pacific Star Building uses the 22 kW charging plug. The charging plug is a connecting plug that you put into the charging socket of an electric car.
A 22kw AC charger is a type of electric vehicle charger that uses AC power to charge the battery of a 4-wheeled electric vehicle. It is capable of providing up to 22 kilowatts of power to the vehicle’s battery, which can significantly reduce the time it takes to fully
charge the battery.

WHAT IS THE EV CHARGING MODE?
Mode 3 (EN/IEC 61851. A Mode 3 charging cable connects your vehicle to a dedicated EV charging station and is considered to be the most common for AC charging.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON SAFETY/OVERCHARGING
4-wheeled electric vehicles are designed with safety mechanism to stop drawing in external current when the battery is fully charged.

Overcharging is generally not a concern with electric vehicles because the charging systems are designed to automatically stop charging once the battery is full. However, it’s important to use compatible charging station and follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for charging. Overcharging may occur if you use the wrong type of charger or if you leave your vehicle charging beyond the recommended time. It’s always best to be cautious and follow the guidelines provided by the manufacturer.
